With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawton S. Averill of East Granby, Connecticut, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Averill (Conant); his parents, Lawton E. Averill and Violet Averill (Snow); and his sister Ellen Maciolek. He is survived by: his children, Bill Averill (Margaret), Laura Averill of Dunedin, FL, David Averill (Kathleen) of Walpole, MA and Jeffrey Averill (Jeffery Robbins) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Caitlin Lary (Zach), Timothy, Andrew, Sean and Julia Averill; his great grandchild Prudence Lary; his brother-in-law Joseph Maciolek; and his nephew Joe Maciolek.
