He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Ann Sweeney (McGee); his parents, Joseph Henry and Lillian Sweeney (Kelley); and his granddaughter Taylor Marie Lavoie. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Lee Sweeney of Windsor Locks and Karen Ann Lavoie (Edward) of East Granby; and his grandson Edward "EJ" Lavoie (Donna) of Simsbury.
