With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Morel of East Granby, Connecticut, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Morel and Irene Morel (Pomerleau). He is survived by: his wife Susan Morel (Wassell); his daughter Jennifer Anderson (Sean) of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Zoë and Thomas; his daughter Valerie Morel (Aaron Meicht) of New York City; his grandchildren, Leon and Dorothy MorelMeicht; his son Brett Morel of East Granby; his siblings, Ken Morel (Una Barry) of Bloomfield and Michele Aniello (William) of Farmington; his nephews, Wesley, Nick and Tony; and his brother-in-law Jim Wassell (Regina Surdel) of Vernon.
