It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Charles Engelke of East Granby, Connecticut, born in Simsbury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Engelke (Fox); and his parents, Charles Engelke and Harriet Engelke (Beyer). He is survived by: his children, Scott Engelke of Granby, Susan Mason (Mark) of East Granby and Wendy Gamache (Michael) of Swampscott, MA; his grandchildren, Christopher Engelke, Vanessa Malfitano (James) and Lauren Engelke; his great grandchildren, Brandon Engelke, Logan and Ava Malfitano; and his sister Candace Hyotte (Robert).
Since Marie died at the height of the pandemic, services will be held for both her and Ted.
