It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Higgins (East Granby, Connecticut), born in Quincy, Florida, who passed away on September 16, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward A. Higgins; and her parent John M. Floyd. She is survived by: her parent Kathryn Floyd (Woodbery); her nephew John Lacouture (Ceil Berard Lacouture) of West Suffield; and her stepdaughter Cathy Harrison of Newington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the East Granby Congregational Church and the CT Humane Society.
