We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Dorothea M. Bogardus of East Granby, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Matthews and Christine Matthews (Schaffer); her husband Adelbert J. Bogardus III (Bogie); and her daughter Elizabeth Bogardus. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Averill (David) of Walpole, MA; her grandchildren, Andrew Averill, Sean Averill and Julia Averill; her siblings, Charles Matthews Jr. of Rocky Hill, Thomas Matthews (Susan) of Tolland and Marcia Paholski (Thomas) of Dallas, TX; and also Mary Morrell of Comfort Keepers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
