He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Shanahan, Jr. and Alice Shanahan (Evans); and his siblings, Betty Mooney, Laura DiDomenico, James Shanahan and Dorothy Pizzoferrato.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Shanahan (Norma) of Marlow, NH, Alice Tralli (Angelo) of Berlin, Charles Shanahan, III of East Granby and Susan Shykula (Paul) of West Lebanon, NH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
