Walter Bernard Moore Obituary

The memory of Walter Bernard Moore of Durham, Connecticut, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hamilton and Bernadette Moore (Cusano); and his brother John "Buster" Moore. He is survived by: his wife Karen Moore (Eckels); his daughters, Jessica Wolfer (Paul), Sara Moore of Meriden and Samantha Gambardella (Greg) of North Haven; his stepdaughters, Alecia Bohan (Branden) of Burlington, CT and Erika Brady (Bob) of Southington; his siblings, Pamel Moore of Athens, GA, Lynn Pennington of Eugene, OR and Raymond Moore (Donna) of East Haven; and his grandchildren, Emelie, Lauren, Rosalie Brady, Cody, Jaxon, Grace and Liberty Bohan. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
