It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie A. Grassi of Durham, Connecticut, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Grassi (Aceto) and Frank Grassi; her brothers, Frank (Jan Grassi) and Lawrence (Joann Grassi); and her nephew Thomas Hunter Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Rachele Grassi Hunter; her brother-in-law Thomas Hunter; and her friend Ann C. Derbacher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great/ great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.
