He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne Cannon (Norris); his granddaughter Emily Lyn; and his parents, Lloyd Wainwright and Dorothy Cannon (Blakeslee). He is survived by: his children, John Cannon (Marisa) of Houston, TX, James Cannon (Lisa) of Rockfall, William Cannon (Veronica) of Bolton, Angela Remillard (Dennis) of Meriden and Patricia Roy (Joseph) of Durham; his sisters, Carol Iaquessa, Esther McPhee, Betty Ann Torino and Ruth Ann Nettleton; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, Abigail, Alexander, Benjamin, Blake, Ben, Rachel, Logan, Cecelia, Olivia, David, Dustin and Zachary; his parents-in-law, Shirley Davis and Richard Poupart Sr; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Veillette and Randy Poupart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
