It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Edward Rubendunst Sr. of Durham, Connecticut, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Herman Rubendunst and Amey Woodmancy Stone; and his siblings, Robert Rubendunst and Maxine Bloor. He is survived by: his wife Mary Palasiewski Rubendunst; his children, Karl Rubendunst Jr. (Mary Beth) and Debbie Bellemare (Dave); and his grandchildren, Karin Bellemare (Jon Wagner), Michelle Bellemare, Andrew Bellemare (Carrie), Emily Rubendunst (Khris Shanta) and Kathy Verhagen (Alec). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
