He was predeceased by: his spouse Marylyn Johnson Astarita; and his parents, Theodore Astarita and Immaculata Madonna Astarita. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Green (Stewart) of Mamaroneck, NY, Edward Astarita, Jr. (Julie) of Slater and Amanda Pedersen (Hans) of Durham; his grandchildren, Matthew, Rosemary Green, Molly, Hannah, Olivia Astarita, Kelsey Donecker (Ethan), Ryan and Alec Bogen; and his brother Dr. Theodore Astarita (Natalie) of North Haven. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and step grandchildren.
