It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Lemmon Shipley (Durham, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Shipley; her parents, Joseph Lemmon and Mary Lemmon (Gralton); and her siblings, Harry, Joseph, William Lemmon and Mildred Copeland.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Gary (Jean Lemmon), Brian (Tatiana Lemmon), Russel Copeland, Nancy Popovich, Nadia and Victoria (Nicholas Lemmon).
Being a cat lover having taken in many strays in her life, one of Agnes final requests was for memorial donations in her memory go to the Branford Compassion Club, 2037 Foxon Rd, North Branford CT 06471.
