With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vilma Rueda of Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on June 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roberto Rueda; her parents, Matilde Mercado and Alicia Mercado; her daughter Lucia Dripchak; her grandson David Poole; and her siblings, Milo Mercado, Roberto Gomez and Nelly.
She is survived by: her children, Isidro Rueda (Stavroula) of Bunnell, FL and Margiavanessa Acosta (Anibal) of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Crystal Poole of Naugatuck, Robert Poole, Anastasia Rueda, John Robert Rueda, Kelly Dripchak of Cromwell and Edward Dripchak of Ansonia; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Julianna, Sebastian, Nathan and Grayson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
