She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Gordon and Nilla Gordon; her husband James Dalton Barrett; her siblings, Willie Gordon, Clinton Gordon, Author Gordon, Clarence Gordon, Beechem, Leslie Gordon, Doris Gordon and Luna Gordon; and her children, Orville Barrett, Gloria Lofters and Maud Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Walters of Seymour; her daughter-in-law Janet Barrett of Derby; her sons, Winston Lofters, Derek Lofters and Leopold "Bunny" Lofters; and her siblings, Eula Morgan, Esther Forbes and Mandell Gordon (Chappy). She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and ten great-grandchildren.
