She was predeceased by: her husband Walter J. Oliwa; her parents, Franciszek Haze and Sophie Haze (Poplawski); and her brothers, Edmund, Theodore, Henry, Joseph and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Oliwa (Pam) of Bedford, NH, Louis Oliwa (Renee) of Derby, CT, Janet Binkowski (Alan) of Pawcatuck, CT and Ron Oliwa (Peg) of Madison, CT.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
