We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2021, at the age of 92, Rose Bassi of Derby, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph R. Bassi, Jr.; her parents, Agostino Patrignelli and Antonia Patrignelli (Scarpetti); her grandchildren, Stephen Iacuone, Jr. and Melissa Iacuone Cole; and her son-in-law John P. Brennan, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Terese Ellison Brennan, Joseph Bassi, III (Patty), Antonia Marek (Bill) and Rose Iacuone-D'Amico (Fred); her grandchildren, Joseph IV, Katherine, Brent, John, Kenneth, Emily, Jennifer, Carla, Thomas, Laurel, Bruce, Alana, Lea and Audrey; her sister Teresa Manoni; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Coppola. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. On. Saturday, all are invited to go directly to St. Mary's Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:45am.
