With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Flader of Derby, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Otto and Eva Piotrowski Flader; his former wife Madelyn Lowrey Flader; his daughter Elizabeth Flader; his brother Ronald "Fritz" Flader; and his daughter-in-law Jane Flader.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie McCarthy Flader of Derby; his sons, John Flader of Monroe and Raymond Flader (Debra) of Milford; his stepchildren, Michael Parker (Debra) and Maureen DeRosa (Greg) of Shelton; his grandchildren, Kevin, Tommy DeRosa, Sean, Shane Parker, Rachel Spencer, Robert Flader, Mathew, Mark, Carolyn Flader and Madelyn Flader; and his great grandchildren, Mikey, Mia and Isabella Phillips.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all funeral services are private.
