It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Halkowicz (Derby, Connecticut), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on June 12, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Colborne Halkowicz; his stepdaughter Shawna Cancelliere (Joe) of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Jared Wilson (Rebekah), Taylor Wilson, Kendra Wilson and Megan Cancelliere; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mikayla and Jackson; his siblings, Richard Halkowicz (Sandy) of Florida, Robert Halkowicz of Stratford, Joseph Halkowicz (Lynn) of Shelton and Shirley Chaco of Trumbull; his former wife Maria Lia Halkowicz; his daughter Jacqueline Wilson; and also Alan of Trumbull. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
