She was predeceased by: her parents, Candido Vazquez and Severiana Ramos; and her children, Carmen Maria Quiles and Edmundo Torres. She is survived by: her children, Rosa Velez (Louis Rodriguez) of Derby, Janet Lugo (Hector Vargas) of Florida, Lourdes Garcia of New Haven, Dianne Rivera of Pennsylvania, Victor Velez (Enid) of Puerto Rico and Freddie (Ivonne Gonzalez) of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
