He was predeceased by: his parents, Presley Walker and Isabell Little Walker; his son Michael Walker; and his stepdaughter Altanese Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Gloria McLaurin Walker; his children, Leon Bryant Walker of Shelton and Janet Elizabeth Walker of Middlefield; and his stepchildren, Wanda Robinson of New Haven, Pastor John L. Lewis of Wallingford, Vincent S. Lewis of Hamden and Vernell Moore of Hamden. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
