He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Stobierski and Anna Tybuski Stobierski; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Martin Stobierski; his son Jeffrey Stobierski; his stepchildren, John Cotter (Hope) and CarrieAnn Cotter Greiser (Paul); his siblings, Robert Stobierski (Lisa), Thomas Stobierski and Carol Stobierski; his sister-in-law Sandra Stobierski; and his grandchildren, Calleigh Cotter and Jackson Cotter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Southern Connecticut Antique Fire Apparatus Collectors. (S.C.A.F.A.C.) The family would like to thank Dr. Chao, the Fusion Team, the Triage Team, the front end staff and Dr. Kumar, as well as the amazing Community Life Center Team (Hospice) at The West Haven CT Veterans' Administration Center for the professional care they gave to Joseph.
