He is survived by: his wife Maria Ugarte Paulin; his children, Michael H. Paulin (Jodi) of Watertown, CT and Suzanne Paulin Chene (Jacques Olivier) of France; and his grandchildren, Sofia, Sami, Alex, Antoine, Beatrice, Jack and Charlie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
