He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni DiGiacomo and Carmela Buonincontro DiGiacomo; his siblings, Antonio, Ettore DiGiacomo, Consiglia Vozza, Giustina Vanchot and Maria Rosario Rotondi; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia DiGiacomo, Kathy DiGiacomo, Nancy Hemingway and Sonny Hemingway.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Hemingway DiGiacomo; his siblings, Salvatore DiGiacomo of Seymour, Gerardo DiGiacomo of Florida and Anna Maria Weitzler (Peter) of Ansonia; his brother-in-law David Hemingway of New Hampshire; and his nieces and nephews, Assunta Heeg (Timothy), Earl Robinson (Geri), Linda Robinson, Elena Worman (Nathan), Massimo Nyiry (Kathy), Edward Vanchot (Ellen), Anthony Weitzler (Kathy), Terry Ann DiGiacomo-Galla, Catherine Albarella (Michael), Roberto Rotondi (Maria), Peter J. "PJ" Weitzler (Cindy), Andre Vanchot (Kessa Halo), William "Billy" Weitzler (Laura), Lisa Merrick (Carlo) and Gina Aldridge (Greg).
