Gina Mattei Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2021, at the age of 55, Gina Mattei (Derby, Connecticut) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gina Mattei to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Louis Mattei; and her son Louis D. Ahearn. She is survived by: her mother Gaetana Mazzucco Mattei; her son David W. Ahearn, Jr.; her siblings, Marie Cavanaugh (Mike), Grace Sojka (Dennis) and Alyson Anderson (Steve); her nieces and nephews, Robert, Matthew Karpiuk, Dennis Sojka, Jr., Deanna Sciacca, Stephen Anderson and Katie Howard; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Riley, Madison, Maisie, Penelope, Colton, Christopher and Alex; and her pet Maya. She is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Due to the high rate of the pandemic a walk through wake will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
