He is survived by: his wife Diane Bucchino Rivers; his son Daniel Rivers (Deanna); his granddaughter Tessa Jeanne Rivers of Southbury; his son Matthew Rivers (Geeta Kadam) of Stratford; his siblings, John Rivers, James Rivers (Suzanne), Lisa Rivers and Thomas Rivers; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Rivers. He is also survived by nine nephews & nieces and two great-nephews & nieces.
