It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Rayner of Deep River, Connecticut, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Rayner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Rayner and Mary Rayner of Deep River; and his siblings, Linda and Michael. He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie, Janet, Beverly, Leslie and Mark; his nieces and nephews, Stacia Rusakowicz, Geoffrey Rayner, Kelly Rayner, Brett Rayner, Aurora Milstein, Hunter Rayner, Willow Tisdale, Sage Tisdale and Meadow Rayner; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shea, Ava Rusakowicz, Marina, Quique, Oriana, Nuria Rayner, Ethan Chopus-Rayner, Jack Wojcik-Rayner, Cole Beaulieu-Rayner, Peyton, Jax Milstein and Liam Rayner; and his close friend Jay Tonks.

“When we met, you were Robbie and you lived across the street from my home. My Children, Karen and Luke were playmates with your family. The memories are many as you all grew up. Your Parents, Charlie and Mary, married over 70 years were wonderful friends, amazing long lived and very special to all who knew them. Seeing you becoming co-owner of Essex Hardware was a hurrah moment. I will miss seeing you and will remember you with great fondness. Lucille Perkins (Batko)”
