She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hannes Kaskela and Frederikka Kaskela; her siblings, Paavo, Pentti, Pekka, Anna and Liisa; and her nephew Michael Kaskela (Texas).
She is survived by: her cousin Rita Kelley; her nieces, Elaine Stirling, Lisa Bobechko of Canada and Hilton Kaskela (Connecticut); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristen Kaskela (Connecticut), Joel Kaskela (Colorado), Nick Stirling (Canada), Ben Stirling (Canada), Adrianne Bobechko (Canada), Kara Bobechko (Canada) and Erik Bobechko (Canada).
