He was predeceased by: his wife Doris A. (Beaudet); his parents, Henry Gagnon and Winifred Gagnon; and his son Michael T. Gagnon. He is survived by: his sons, Steven J. Gagnon (Rose) of Putnam, CT and David A. Gagnon (Debra) of Putnam, CT.; his grandchildren, Stacy, Derik, Nathan, Kimberly, Danielle and Casey; his great grandchildren, Brittany, Andrew, Amelia, Carter, Vayda, Emily and Aubrey; and his great great grandchild Lorenzo.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to the Putnam Lodge of Elks in memory of James Gagnon to be distributed to Graduates pursuing the Carpentry trade.
