He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George C. Sr and Elizabeth Smith, Sr. (Mitchell); his son Kyle Smith (Erika) of Fairmont, WV; his stepson Roger Duchesne (Lynne) of Fitchburg, MA; his granddaughter Taylor Smith of Morgantown, WV; his stepgrandchildren, Laramie Linn of Fairmont, WV, Nicole and Jeffrey Duchesne; his sisters, Janet Smith of San Pablo, CA and Sharon Mann (Robert) of Woodstock, CT; his close friends, Robert and Judy Payne of Brooklyn, CT; his significant other Ernest Cristo; and his brother Gary Smith.
