He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benedetto and Maria Benedetto (Creatura); and his siblings, Mary Steele, Elizabeth Richmond and Albert Benedetto.

He is survived by: his wife Maria L. Benedetto (Lavin); his son Monte Benedetto of Pomfret Center; and his siblings, Jane Woods, Josephine Fortney, Pat Benedetto, Charles Benedetto and Paul Benedetto.
