With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Montgomery of Darien, Connecticut, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sigmund John Montgomery. She is survived by: her children, Charles Richardson Skeele (Jennifer), Harrison Fowler Skeele (Virginia) and Sarah Hayden Post; her stepdaughter Cynthia Kowalski (Ronald); her sister Alice Hayward Forker of Columbia, MO; and her friend Christian. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
In this spirit, her family asks that, in lieu of flowers or special contributions to worthy causes, you greet your neighbors with a smile and ask them how they are, and think of Ruth and the love she brought to every neighborhood she lived in.
