As we bid Robert Donald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert Donald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Farley and Marian Sawner Farley; and his siblings, Mary Lou Harrington and Donald William Farley. He is survived by: his son Jonathan Farley of New York, NY; his wife Jennifer McCord; and his sister Jean Schumitz (John) of Locust Grove, VA. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (2119 Post Rd, Darien, CT 06820). A burial will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (41 Hecker Ave, Darien, CT 06820).
