It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian R. Giegrich of Darien, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ransco Sr. and Viola Szulist Ransco; her son John Elliot Roney; her husband Lester Giegerich; her siblings, Will Ransco and Helen Rogoza; and her grandson Noah Nate Roney.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Elizabeth Roney; her nieces, Judy Lenzi and Susan Kreyer; her nephew Andrew Ransco; her stepdaughters, Brenda Giegerich and Marsha Torkleson; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Torkleson, Bretton Torkelson and Eloise Giegerich; and her cousins, Jimmy, Barbara, Bobby, Tommy, Raymond and Mark.
