She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schenck and Elaine Schenck; and her grandmother Harriet Edwards Schenck. She is survived by: her husband Peter VanVleet Young; her children, Aide, Christie Sherwood Young, Todd VanVleet Young (Lorna) and Dana Young Goering (Dean); and her grandchildren, Peter VanVleet Young II, Lila Rachel Young, Hunter VanVleet Goering and Georgia Emile Goering.
