He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Michael Lione, Sr. and Eva Vuono Lione; his former wife Sallianne Cordiner Lione; his daughter Kendall Lione Gleason; his sister Lois Lione Cathcart; his wife Nancy Smith Lione; his children, David Lione (Cate), John Lione (Susan) and Sarah Lione Zarucha (Edward); his granddaughter Cara Boyle (Kevin); his children, Tess Lione (Ben Buchler) and Nicholas Lione; his great grandchildren, Jack and Kelly Boyle; his stepchildren, Christopher Smith, Heather Smith, Theodore Smith and Virginia Smith Svendsen (Chris); his stepgrandchildren, Carter Smith, Alexander Smith, Gianni Smith, Margot Smith, Theodore Smith and Crosby Smith; his sister Lynne Lione Webb; and his brother-in-law Dr. Paul Cathcart. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Forman School and The Norwalk Hospital Foundation.
