She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Rice and Joseph Collins. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Higgins (George) of Darien, CT, Jim Harmon (Ann) of Southampton, NY and Joanne Bryant (Wayne) of Redding, CT; her grandchildren, Sean Higgins (Barrett), Kelsey Bryant (Charlie Rohrer) and Christopher Harmon; her great grandchildren, Parker and Saylor Higgins; and her husband Joe.
