He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Joseph Waters and Mary Agnes Slattery; and his brother Frederick Joseph Waters Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Shields (Michael Shields) and Brenda Mahoney; his significant other Patricia Waters of New Canaan, CT; his children, Tricia Waters (Scott Ross), Amy (David Youkilis), Ted Waters (Laura Jayson), Jennifer (Ian MacAllister), Lauren Waters of New Canaan, CT and Erin (Jon Trepanier); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Jack, Benjamin, Charlotte, William, Isabelle, Scott, Tristan, Skylar, Scarlett, Annabelle, Lilly, Kieran, Sawyer, Jayson, Violet, Bailey, Edward, Pearl and Laela.
