She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Edgar and Amelia Edgar; her husband Henry F. Herbert; her children, Janet Glazer (Charles) of Greenwich, Lauren Banerjee (Ravi) of Darien, Bebe Fisher (John) of Darien, Carol Herbert of Darien and Frazer Herbert (Victoria) of Rowayton; and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Charlie, Alex, Ravi Jr., Lizzie, Scott, Annie, Carolyn, Jack, Andrew, Cate and James. She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
