She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schroth and Rose Schroth (Vevier); and her spouse Donat Brodeur. She is survived by: her children, Janet Ploof (Bill), Wayne Brodeur (Cindy), Carol Taylor (David), Linda Bettencourt and Michael Brodeur (Shawn Santomenno); and her sister Shirley Orr. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and her seven great grandchildren.
