She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Rutledge and Mildred I. Rutledge (Warren); her husband Wayne; her son David; her siblings, Doris, Carol, John, Paul and Daniel; and her great grandchild Adeline.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Odum (Sandy) of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Rebekah Shirley (Rodney) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Timothy Odum (Charlotte) of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Rhoda Stivers (Don) of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Paul Odum of Dayville, Connecticut, Jonathan Odum (Rosalee) of Tupelo, Mississippi, Ruth Starr (Jess) of Minot, Mary Hudson (Jonathan) of Fishers, Indiana, Martha Stacy (Mark) of Purcell, Oklahoma, Daniel Odum (Wendy) of Ashford, Connecticut and Samuel Odum (Jenifer) of Canton; and her sister Donna Smith (Ray). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Phyllis Jane Odum Memorial fund payable to Rhoda Stivers (daughter of Phyllis).
