Jean R. Pappas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean R. Pappas of Danielson, Connecticut, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Pappas. She is survived by: her sister Carol Lis of Danielson; her daughters, Diane Kapatoes of Old Saybrook and Roxanne Brouillard of Danielson; her grandsons, Carl Meisler of Old Saybrook, CT, Justin Brouillard of Brooklyn, CT and Dane Meisler (Marissa) of Coventry, RI.; and her great grandchildren, Deanna of Coventry, RI. and Lyla Jean Meisler of Coventry, RI.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (80 Water St, Killingly, CT 06239). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Westfield Cemetery North Street.
