She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rundell and Mildred Rundell (Davis); her great grandchild Andrew Leach; and the father of her children Roger Champagne. She is survived by: her children, Cassandra Leach (Robert) of Brooklyn Connecticut, Charlene Champagne of Laconia and Charles Champagne (Doreen) of Plainfield, Connecticut.; and her siblings, Lucy Stuyniski (James) of Brooklyn, Ray and Wayne Rundell of Brooklyn, Connecticut.. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

“I am so very sorry for your loss. Doris was more than a resident of Westfield when I was the administrator there - she was a friend. I moved her in in the late 80s and through the years shared many good times - events, lunch 3 time a week, enjoying her cooking (bread pudding, pizzellas, birthday cakes) and many others. I have been missing her since I retired and will continue to miss here dearly. Again my most sincere condolences on your loss of a real lady. Love, Sue Gunderman”
