He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Gerard Chartier and Rubia Chartier; and his siblings, Anne-Marie Allen, Pierre and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; his sons, David (Jenjira) and Daniel (Tracy); his siblings, Gerard, Robert (Gretchen), Marc, Normand (Lynn), Louis (Suzanne), Nicolas (Susan), Michele (Beth) and Celeste; and his siblings-in-law, David Allen, Jack Bellavance (Wendy) and Ann Clark (David Ehler).
