She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chausse and Blanche Chausse (Fortin); her brother Alfred Chausse; her former husband Lionel LaPorte; and her son Michael LaPorte.
She is survived by: her sister Rachel Chausse of Middletown; and her children, Jackie Hoenig of Thompson, Ken LaPorte of Dayville, Karen Keith of Elizabethtown, KY and Cathy Boulais (Jim) of South Windsor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
