She was predeceased by : her husband Louis G. Matthews; her parents, Sobhy Gabriel (Sam) and Sarah Gabriel (Bargoot); her brothers, James (Helen Gabriel) and Michael (Anne Gabriel); her parents-in-law, George and Bahee Matthews; and her brothers-in-law, Abraham (Anna Matthews) and Fred Matthews.

She is survived by : her son George Matthews (Theresa) of Westwood, MA; her grandchildren, George Matthews Jr. (Natasha), Sarah Tangerini (Charles) and Paul Matthews; her children, Gregory Matthews (Laurie) of Avon and NJ; her grandchildren, Claire and Helen Matthews; her daughter Sandra Mackenzie (John) of North Salem, NY; her grandson Matt (Alyssa); her sons, Andrew, Luke, Mark Mackenzie and Louis Matthews Jr. (Corinne) of Milford, PA; her grandson James (Emily); her children, Hannah, Mary, Zachary and Katie Matthews; and her sister-in-law Darlene Matthews of Bethel, CT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
