She was predeceased by: her parents, Professor A. Aiyappan and Kousalya Aiyappan. She is survived by: her spouse Col. P. Vidyasagar; her children, Uma (Michael), Indu (Tracy), Rama and Harish; and her grandsons, Tracy Jr. and Justin.
