She is survived by: her husband Glen Earl Highsmith; her daughter Sabrina Highsmith Walker; her grandchildren, Aminah Walker, Aliyah Walker and Gavin Highsmith; her siblings, Shirley Person Armstrong, Laveda Cherry, Stephanie Walker, William Person, Jimmy Person and Ronald Cherry; her cousin Dorothy Mae Roberson; her niece Michelle Little; her goddaughter Hope Ebron; her siblings-in-law, Lula Mae Terry, Launia Brown, VanessamPerson, Betty Cherry and Crawford Walker; and her brother James "Cooky" Brown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
