She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaia Genao and Emilia (Miña) of Jesus Torres; and her siblings, Rafael Alfredo Genao (Blanco), Luis Genao, Ana Bertilia Vargas (América) and Inocencio Genao (Eduardo).
She is survived by: her husband Sergio Almonte; her children, Arelis Almonte, Edwin Almonte, Daniel Almonte and Amanda Almonte; her grandchildren, Sebastian, Serena, Lorenzo, Ethan and Sophia; and her siblings, Violeta Genao, Ana Dilia Nunez, Miguel Genao, Pedro Genao and William Genao.
