He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence G. Riendeau and Ann Riendeau (Denis); and his sister Jean Riendeau Ericson. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Michelle M. Saunders and Robert M. Riendeau; and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob and Cheyenne Saunders. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpino Funeral Home (750 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (910 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488).

Donations may be made in Robert's name to the American Lung Association.
